Due North Foods has grown from providing wares for Northland farmers’ markets and retail outlets, to form a thriving small business with products that are popular throughout Aotearoa. This remains true to our philosophy of crafting the best quality products, from the freshest local produce, using natural, tried and trusted methods with a touch of adventure and innovation.
Every jar is filled with love as well as high quality produce picked at its peak ripeness from local Northland farmers. We would like to think that everything can be grown in Northland, but what cannot be grown here we source from the rest of New Zealand and our friendly neighbours across the ditch, Australia.
We are passionate about delicious and healthy foods, that is why you will not find artificial preservatives, colouring or emulsifiers in any of our recipes.
Our vibrant colours are produced from selecting fresh, ripe, locally grown fruit and vegetables. The sweet comes from raw cane sugar and local manuka honey. And, proudly, the only preservatives we use are raw cane sugar, Northland grown olive oil and vinegar made right here in New Zealand.
